Read our installation guide.

1. Simple installation and enabling the TP2 plugin.
2. You required to login in the front-end as admin.
3. TP2 mini-panel would pop-up.
4. Once you press the mini-panel, modules-list-panel would pop-up and list of positions and modules in those positions would be shown.
5. You can add modules from the modules-list-panel by drag & drop from the list to one of the positions in the screen.
6. The drop should be inside the position-name region. When you hover the position, the background of the position-name would changed. This sign mark you can drop the module.
7. After you drag & drop module, edit module would pop-up in modal-popup. The edit content is the same as in the back-end edit module.
8. In addition, on each module you would have 3 button:
   1. Move from one position to another.
   2. Edit module for updating its details, like title, status, options, menu assignments and much more.
   3. Delete the module and move it to trash.
9. If you would like to get back to regular screen press again on TP2 mini-panel.

Pay attention that TP2 is only available for super user only, and there is no Joomla core override. You can insert, edit and delete modules in both sides - front-end with TP2 & back-end (as you did till now) - and they both synced cause they are using same core.

Troubelshot

TP2 is working well in 99% of templates, however there are few frequency problems:

1. Enable template position display:
   In some template (or frameworks) there is enabling of positions display (regular Joomla positions display - tp=1). You should enable it.
   Login to your Joomla back end go:
   1. Extensions->Template Manager.
   2. Click [Option]
   3. Enable “Preview Module Positions”
2. JavaScript errors:
   TP2 is work with JavaScript. If one of your page throw JavaScript error it may halt every JavaScript possess (it’s a browser behavior).
   You can check JavaScript errors on Chrome develop console, or Firebug console.
3. My site doesn’t have login module on Front end:
   It not a problem, you can login via user component using this link –
   htttp://mysite…/index.php?option=com_users&view=login
   Change “mysite” to your site url.

TP2 on T3 Framework

TP2 is now also work on T3 framework (from release 1.2.0).

To work with TP2 on T3, you should do the follow steps:
1. TP2 plugin have to load after T3 on joomla system Plugin orders (screen shot 1).

2. Inside you T3 template you should (screen shot 2):
     a) Enable Development Mode = Yes
    b) Enable Template Information = Yes

     c)Optimize CSS = No
    d)Optimize JS = NO

3. Joomla templates option -> enable "Preview Module position"

4. After do those change, clean Cache.

Please note that TP2 work a little bit difference on T3 and we don't support Elastica (or Elastica base) template.
